I am a Steward.

I do not live merely to possess.

I live to receive, cultivate, protect, strengthen, and pass on.

I understand that what comes into my hands is not necessarily mine to consume.

I seek to understand what has been entrusted to me.

I strengthen what I inherit.

I prepare what I build for those who come after me.

I do not measure my life only by what I have gained.

I measure it by what I have strengthened.

I choose truth over appearance.

I choose responsibility over entitlement.

I choose contribution over consumption.

I choose stewardship over possession.

This is the life I am learning to live.
