REALITY CHECK 102: DON’T JUDGE ME BEFORE I FINISH!!!

“My human life is far from perfect. Yet I am a classic example of someone whose life in this world is divinely purposed and planned.”

People often think that if your life is truly ordained by God, then everything about it should look perfect.

I do not think so.

I understand that my life purpose is greater than my personal preferences.

Therefore, I must agree to live with some things even though I do not want them, and I must let go of some things that I truly desire to have.

This sometimes makes me sad because it seems I’m sacrificing much of my personal enjoyment just to fulfill my original life purpose.

I have cried about this reality.

But my tears won’t change it.

This is how all divinely purposeful lives are lived on Earth!

If, like me, your life is divinely purposed, then you cannot simply live however you wish.

Our human lives cannot be about us because we are divine agents on human assignments.

Many times, it seems I am being denied all the nice things I want. Sometimes I just want to drop this missionary life and be a normal human being.

I have tried to quit the mission many times.

Some of you have tried too.

But the result is often the same.

You feel frustrated, used up, wasted, and eventually unfulfilled because you were actually wired for a different kind of satisfaction.

What others enjoy may satisfy you for a while.

Soon enough, you become restless again because it is another pleasure without divine purpose.

How can we escape our default setting?

We can’t.

That is our reality.

Don’t judge my life before I finish living it.

…a Word is too much for the wise…
